ALL FITNESS COMPANY DVDs $24.95 + Shipping |
The Fitness Video Company was a 'branch' of WPW in the early 90's, until WPW decided to simply tape the fitness/figure women as WPW videos. All 25 are now on DVD - we will add more guide photos and video descriptions in our Online Store in the near future. Please also note that two different video teams did these sessions- if you are looking for more 'bodybuilding-style' videos, the best would be #6, 9, 10 and 13 as they were done by the WPW staff. Videos #3, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 are a mixture of bodybuilding posing/figure modelling. The other non-contest videos show lesser developed women doing more 'model-type' posing (stretching, gymnastic moves, some minor posing, etc). |
Fitness Video 1 - 1990 National Fitness Contest
Wally Boyko, who also promoted the Superbowl and Expo Contests during the 1980's, was the first to sanction and run fitness contests- his first, the 1986 Ms. National Fitness, is on Fitness Company #4. Note that all of the other Fitness Company videos are good-excellent quality, but this one only has an average picture quality- we are releasing it for its historical value. More than 30 women competed in this event, including several women who distinguished themselves in the sport for many years- Debbie Kruck and Marla Duncan (the two best of the time), Deb Toole, Pam Ritchie, Kathy Sherron, Nancy Georges, Ursula Buckenes-Henry and Kelly Gamble. The women are introduced in evening gowns, pose and are compared in bikinis/heels and do routines. Video/DVD runs 100 minutes. |
Fitness Video 2 - 1990 Ms. Fitness USA
The picture quality is very good here and the 20+ women are introduced, and they speak, in evening gowns, do comparisons in bikinis/heels and perform their routines. This show, sponsored again by Wally Boyko, features name women Marla Duncan, Deb Toole, Maria Gonzales, Christine Lakatos, Sherry Goggin, Ursula Buckenes-Henry, Kelly Gamble, Pam Ritchie, Nancy Georges, Valerie Phillips and Kathy Sherron. Video/DVD runs 1 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 3 - Marla Duncan, Debbie Kruck, Jessica Johnson, Nancy Georges and Debbie Dobbins
This is a pure posing video with five of the top fitness women of the early 90's. The taping was done in 1991-1992 with emphasis on Kruck and Duncan, each of whom poses fitness/bodybuilding style in many swimsuits and dress outfits. Johnson, Georges and Dobbins each pose in one bikini and one dress, and work out in the gym. The gymwork sound is 'live', but all posing has classical music dubbed. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 4 - The 1986 Ms. National Fitness and 1990 Muscle Beach Weekend Show
The 1986 contest, to the best of our knowledge, was the first ever fitness contest, promoted by Wally Boyko. The field of women featured traditional fitness women and also some bodybuilding crossovers, such as Liz Karp, Jeanne Splittgerber and Brenda Herrera. Other women include Debbie Hale, Toni Dee, Debra Stefan, winner Lynne Carpenter and Shirley Eason, who at 6'3" might be the tallest competitor ever. The picture quality is very good and the women are introduced in dresses, pose in bikinis and do routines. We cant remember much about the 1990 Muscle Beach show, but it seems like it was unsanctioned as it is a combination of figure, fitness and bodybuilding. The field of women included 'name' bodybuilders such as Shelly Beattie, Nikki Fuller, Etta Timmerman, Virginia Brady, Melissa Dick, Chris Adams. They, and the other contestants are introduced in evening gowns and pose in bikinis/heels. Note that the picture quality for this contest is great, but the microphone was very loud, making it hard to understand the MC. In addition to the two contests, we have one-on-one posting scenes with Dick and Adams, hitting the shots fitness/bodybuilding style in bikini and one dress. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 5 - Four Muscle Beach fitness women posing - Kathy Sherron, Theresa Magarian, Mary Gordon and Starr Jackson
The four women featured here were all contestants in the 1990 Muscle Beach Contest (on Fitness #4) and feature fitness-style physiques/posing. They were among the contestants in the show who were not bodybuilding crossovers and are very gently muscled. Each woman poses in one bikini and one dress item and posing scenes are dubbed with classical music. Video/DVD runs 2 hours. |
Fitness Video 6 - Marla Duncan & Alyssa Ferrari |
The first five Fitness Company videos were taped by freelancers, but this title was done by the WPW videographer, John Nafpliotis and is the 'WPW video format' is obvious, featuring all posing bodybuilding-style, gymwork and interviews. Marla (along with Debbie Kruck) was the top fitness woman of the early 90's, and this footage was taken in 1992 when she was at her very best. Her combination of physique, beauty and camera presence was hard to beat. Alyssa, a top amateur newcomer was right in Marla's league also, and both women feature very upper level muscularity for fitness at the time. Both women were about 5'5" 120 pounds showing off very appealing shapes and grooming. Marla and Alyssa work out tandem in the gym, pose in swimsuits/dresses, and are interviewed. Video/DVD runs 2 hours. |
Fitness Video 7 - Debi Lee, Theresa Fahl & Renee Syroid
The three women featured here were top fitness women in the early 90's, with Debi having a very successful career for many years as Debi Stern. Theresa and Renee competed for a short time, then disappeared after a year or so. This is a posing video taped by the Ray Martin videographer and features the three women posing fitness/bodybuilding style in swimsuits and dress items. All three women were recently in a contest, and were in good shape, displaying upper level fitness muscularity for the time. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 8 - Holly Hart & Dana Maderos
Holly and Dana, both exotic dancers, started competing in fitness events in the early 90's. Dana did not continue for long, but Holly continued to compete well into the 90's, and was in 2 of the 3 'Strong and Shapely' Fitness/Strength shows in the mid-90's. Here, both women pose fitness/bodybuilding style in bikini/dresses. Holly shows off a traditionally beautiful body, lightly muscled, with very glamorous looks, while Dana displays a lot more muscle, particularly for her upper body. Video work done by Ray Martin, with lots of limbering up, etc, before all the bodybuilding posing. Video/DVD runs 2 hours. |
Fitness Video 9 - Debbie Kruck
Taped by WPW videographer John Nafpliotis, Debbie is in fabulous shape when in New Jersey for the 1992 'Strong and Shapely' Fitness/Strength contest. She had added a good deal of quality muscle since her footage on Fitness #3, and poses bodybuilding-style in a beautiful assortment of swimsuits and dresses. At this time, Debbie was the best and most popular fitness woman on the scene, and shows why here with a combination of fitness muscle and facial beauty that has been hard to beat 15+ years later ! She was very strong during her gymwork, including 4 reps with 200 pounds for bench presses, then hits her impressive shots (particularly upper body) in all the outfits, and is interviewed. Nearly 20 years later, in 2010, she remains the 'point of comparison' for fitness models. Video/DVD runs 2 hours. |
Fitness Video 10 - Christine Lakatos
NOTE: All posing and gymwork scenes from this title are also available on WPW Video/DVD 303 with Karen Hulse, BUT Christine's interview is only on Fitness-10. Christine was a top fitness woman who competed in very early fitness shows in the early 90's. The WPW crew did this work with her in 1992 when she was in very good shape, and she hits the shots bodybuilding-style in bikini/dresses, does very strong gymwork and is interviewed. At 5'4" the beautiful Chris was one of the strongest fitness competitor of the time, working up to many reps with 700 pounds on the leg press, etc. She was also one of the most muscular fitness women, displaying a very well developed upper and lower body- including great calves- for the era. If you want Christine's posing and gym scenes only, then we suggest getting WPW-303. If you want Chris' interview also, then get this one. |
Fitness Video 11 Strong & Shapely Fitness Contest |
New Jersey gym owner Bob Bonham and Ken Kassel promoted three of these events- this one in 1992, with the 1993 event on Fitness #22 and the 1994 show on WPW-264. Nine top-name women were invited to compete including Debbie Kruck, April Johnson-Roseberry, Holly Hart, Patty Sanchez, Kathy Sherron, Denise Paglia, Sherilyn Godreau, Patti Regan and Esther Cano. The women are introduced in evening gowns/miniskirts and figure comparisons are done in bikini/heels. The women do fitness routines, then the one strength lift was curling for as many reps the women could do with 40% of their bodyweight. Also included is the Beauti-Fit Amateur fitness show, featuring seven more local/regional fitness women. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 12 - 1992 Ms. National Fitness Contest (Finals only) |
This is a two-DVD set, featuring the entire prejudging and finals for the best fitness show of the time. "Name" women include Nancy Georges, Carla Gore, Hope Lane, Carol Semple, Debbie Dobbins, Deb Toole, Debi Lee, Marissa Espinosa, Alphie Newman, Theresa Fahl, Sherry Goggings-Giardina, Kathy Sherron and many others. All 35 women are introduced, do comparisons in bikinis/heels, quarter-turns in their evening gowns and all do their evening routines. In addition, there was one strength event- the women do one-arm pushups. And, for the evening show, the women are introduced again, give short speeches and do more comparisons before their routines. Video/DVD runs a full 5 hours on two discs. |
Fitness Video 13 - Alphie Newman & Lorie Donnelly |
Alphie and Laurie were 'best friends' at the time of this November 1992 video session, and each had just done very well in recent fitness shows- Alphie was in the top-five in a large field of women in the 1992 Ms. National Fitness (Fitness Company DVD #12) and Laurie won the 1992 MuscleMania Fitness Contest.. The two young women (Alphie is only 19 !) pose individually and tandem in several outfits, then Alphie does some interesting and impressive contortion posing as well as a few strength demanding moves such as handstand pushups, walking on hands, one-arm pushups, etc. Then, in January 1993 we did another session with Alphie only, where she poses bodybuilding/fitness style in more outfits, does some repwork in the gym and is interviewed. Both women were in top shape, with Alphie being best known for her impressive abs. Videographer Ray Martin did a great job here. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 14 - Kim Peterson & Wendy Vollmar |
Videographer Ray Martin had two videos sessions with Kim and one with Wendy, all in late 1992 when they were in top shape at the time of their contests. Kim was known for her very lean and defined physique, which shows up impressively during her gymwork- and she was pretty strong also, doing 13 one arm pushups, etc. She then poses bodybuilding-style in many different bikini/dress outfits, showing off a very high level of lean muscularity for fitness for the era, including very good biceps, back and deep cut abs. A full interview is not included, but pieces of her speaking are dubbed on to one of her dress posing scenes (same thing done for Wendy). Wendy's footage includes gymwork, and since she was a pro ballerina, lots of aerobic and dance moves as well, followed by bodybuilding/fitness style posing in several outfits. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 15 - Sherilyn Godreau & Cathy Burton |
Videographer Ray Martin had two sessions with Sherilyn and one with Cathy, all in 1992. Sherilyn's first taping was during the summer of '92 and features gymwork and bodybuilding style posing in several outfits, including some at the beach. Her fall '92 footage includes her 'Strong and Shapely Magazine cover' photo session, as well as posing in more outfits. Sherilyn was one of the best fitness women of the time (and we think she later was a Gladiator in Florida), almost in a league with Debbie Kruck. Instead of a full interview, we took phrases of her speaking and dubbed them on a posing scene, same for Cathy. Sherilyn's footage runs 100 minutes, and Cathy's 50 minutes includes bodybuilding style posing in several outfits. Unlike most of the fitness women of the time who were taller and leaner, Cathy had more of a thicker bodybuilding look to her, featuring very impressive arm, back, thigh and calve poses in terms of size and shape. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 16 - Carla Gore, Marissa Espinosa and Patty Sanchez-Drabant |
Videographer Ray Martin did the work with these three women in 1992 at the time of their contests, so all were in very impressive, lean condition, featuring a level of fitness muscularity which approached Debbie Kruck's. There were two sessions with Gore and one each for the others, and all pose fitness/bodybuilding style in a variety of bikinis and dresses. Carla and Marissa were very defined, featuring impressive upper bodies and terrific development in their legs and calves as well. Ditto for Patty, who did start out as a bodybuilder a few years before this, and despite intentionally trying to get smaller for fitness, she still retained a good level of muscularity. Sadly, as great as these three women were, they did not stay on the scene for much longer. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 17 - Jana Holmes, April Johnson-Roseberry & Nikki Dedduang |
April was a national level fitness competitor, and Jana and Nikki competed locally, all during the early-mid 90's. April was the most distinguished as she competed in several top national contests, including the "Strong and Shapely" events. All three had gymnastic or dance backgrounds, so videographer Ray Martin had all do a series of gymnastic moves before they hit the shots bodybuilding and fitness style in bikinis and dress items. April was overall the most muscular of the three and actually, could have competed at a local/regional level in bodybuilding. Jana and Nikki show off impressive arms and backs and their glamorous beauty combined with the appealing physiques made for very attractive physique models. Taping was from 1993. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 18 - Jakki Bakeria, Leisa Bolfing & Jacque Wang |
Videographer Ray Martin met all three of these fitness women at contests in 1993, and had one-on-one sessions with each that year. In addition to the regular bodybuilding/fitness style posing, Jakki, a former ballerina and gymnast, does some impressive splits, handstand pushups, etc. Leisa was a cheerleader, so in addition to hitting the bodybuilding poses, she performs some cheerleading moves as well. We are not sure of Jakki's background, but she was the most muscular of the three and hits the shots bodybuilding-style in several outfits. She was muscular enough to have been in a local/regional bodybuilding show, and that includes probably the best calves ever for a fitness competitor. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 19 - Maria Gonzales, Esther Serrano-Cano & Carol Semple |
Videographer Ray Martin also met these three competitors at fitness contests in 1993, and although they are a bit less muscled, both Maria and Carol showed off some very demanding gymnastic moves. In addition to the bodybuilding/fitness style posing in different outfits, Maria performs very difficult handstands, walking on hands and one-arm handstand pushups. Carol, who soon after this became the top fitness competitor of the 90's, performed difficult moves on the trampoline, parallel bar, rings, handstands and flips. Esther, who was in the 1993 "Strong and Shapely" event, did not have the gymnastic background, so her scenes are for bodybuilding/fitness style posing only. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 20 -
Beth Youker, Kim Williams, Kelley Paz & Rebecca Barrington |
Videographer Ray Martin met these four fitness models in California- they were not as muscular as our previous fitness models, so the footage concentrates on athletic and gymnastic prowess. All of the women do some bodybuilding/fitness style posing in bikini/dress items, then also do some impressive moves such as the handstand pushups, work on the rings, flips, etc. Rebecca did not have that kind of gymnastic background, so her scenes are limited to posing, and the super beautiful blonde shows off lean muscularity while posing in bikinis and dress items. Video/DVD runs 2 1/2 hours. |
Fitness Video 21 -
Deanna Alkire, Laura Helton, Rhonda Schaffer, Kelly Nugent, Victori English |
This is similar in format to Fitness #20- all five women were 'fitness models' moreso than fitness competitors in the true sense. Videographer Ray Martin met all of them at the "Hawaiian Tropic"bikini show in 1993, and the aim of the women was to train lightly for fitness sessions, not to gain size. Scenes do include some bodybuilding/fitness style posing, but more emphasis here on dance moves and in some cases gymnastics such as walking on hands, cartwheels, backbends, etc. This was the last Fitness Company title to feature one-on-one video sessions- after this, Ray Martin did work with the fitness/figure women for his own company (Ray Martin Videos- which WPW still distributes on this site....) and occasionally for the WPW videos also. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 22 - 1993 "Strong and Shapely" Fitness/Strength Show |
This was the second "Strong and Shapely" contest- the first one is on FV-11, and the third and last one from 1994 is available on WPW-264. New Jersey gym owner Bob Bonham and Ken Kassel promoted this terrific contest which featured 'name' women such as Debbie Kruck, Carla Gore, Laura Robinson, Debbie Dobbins, Daniella Morlanne, Kim Peterson, Alyssa Ferrari, Alexandra Vusir, Maria Gonzales, Renita Harris and newcomers Nancy Benson, Themis Klarides, Tammy Allen, Susy Duby, Monica Haslom and Amy Zych. The women are introduced, then do quarter turns and comparisons in bikinis. Also, the women line up and are interviewed in evening gowns, perform very innovative evening routines, some using props. The strength event again featured the women doing curls with 40% of their bodyweight, with two of the women doing well over 100 reps and others doing over 60!! Also included is a smaller amateur fitness contest, featuring five more local/regional women doing routines and awards. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 23 - 1993 Pro National Fitness Championships |
At the time of this contest in August 1993 it was probably the best field of fitness women assembled for such a show. Promoter Ken Kassel always made it a point to invite the best women to shows he ran, and this time 26 very top women competed, including 'name' women such as Debbie Kruck, Kim Peterson, Maria Gonzales, Renita Harris, Hope Lane, Holly Hart, Jacque Wang, Patty Sanchez, Rene Syroid, Daniella Morlanne, Mia Finnegan, Carla Gore, Marissa Espinosa and Sherilyn Godreau. Other newer women included Lisa Ibarra, Kelly Glynn, Pam Sillman, Celia DeCandia, June Monroe, Tia Davidovici, Themis Klarides, Amy Zych, Michelle Talboo, Terri Rivera and Julia Annibale. The entire prejudging is included, intros in evening gowns, and all 26 women do their routines, which in many cases even included hitting shots bodybuilding style ! A great contest tape for both picture quality and field of women. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 24 -
1993 Ms. National Fitness Contest |
Wally Boyko promoted this show again in 1993 and this year's version featured 24 women, including 'name' women such as Deb Toole, Mia Finnegan, Darby Hart, Renee Redden, Sherry Goggins-Giardina, Carol Semple and many others. The women are introduced and speak in their evening gowns, quarter turns and comparisons are in bikinis/heels and all women do their routines, which many including strength demanding moves such as one-arm pushups. Video/DVD runs 2 3/4 hours. |
Fitness Video 25 - "Preview Video"- (sample scenes from previous Fitness Videos) |
This is a 'preview tape' featuring representative footage from nearly all of the 24 original videos- this will give you a great idea of the type of footage used. Scenes are included from the following Fitness Videos- #3 and #6 through #23. Video/DVD runs 2 hours. |
