Stacy was a very top amateur bodybuilder from Pennsylvania who was placing high in shows during the late 90s and up through about 2001. We never did get to do work with her in top contest shape, but we had one terrific photo/video session with her in 2001 when she was in fantastic off-season shape at 5’3” 160 pounds – featuring 16” biceps, 17” calves and huge 27” thighs. The 1995 Pennsylvania State Champ was 30 years old for this shoot, and had years of ballet training, which explains why she was one of the rare women in the sport whose lower body was more developed than the upper body. She was in pretty lean shape for this session and in the gym we did mostly a rep oriented workout, though curling 135 pounds strictly for 4 reps is a very strong lift. After that, she hits the shots in two thong leotards and two miniskirts and is interviewed. She did do some work for the Ray Martin Company in 1995 and we have a small scene from that to show how nicely she improved over that 6 year span. Video/DVD runs 2 hours.

We met Karen at the Jan Tana Pro Fitness Contest in 1999 and had two sessions with her that year- those are on WPW-378. She was in top shape again for this May 2000 taping, combining the very best features from both bodybuilding and fitness- she was not huge (5'3" 120 pounds), but had very good definition throughout her balanced physique, topped off by great facial beauty and glamorous blonde hair. Her total body shape was perfect and her biceps, back, abs and calves were her best bodyparts. She does repwork in the gym, then hits the poses bodybuilding-style in a bikini and several dresses, and an interview is also included. Karen had one of the best 'looks' ever- she competed at a high level as an IFBB fitness pro for a few more years before retiring from competition.  Video running time about 2 hours.

Marja Lehtonen will go down in bodybuilding history as one of the best physiques of all time. The blonde beauty from Finland competed in Europe during the 1990s, then started competing in IFBB pro shows starting in 2001. This was our first video session with her and we got her in top contest shape at both the 2001 Jan Tana and the 2001 Extravaganza Pro contests, where at 5’2” she was an utterly muscular and chiseled 135 pounds, featuring some of the best biceps ever. Her bicep cover shot on the cover of Women’s Physique World Magazines August 2002 issue came from this photo/video session. Marja goes through an intense strength/rep gym workout, then hits all the shots in two different bikinis and two other dressy outfits. Her stage routines at the contests are also included, and her interview. Running time is 2 hours.

The 2001 Extravaganza Pro Bodybuilding contest featured 14 top name IFBB pros, including Gayle Moher, MaryEllen Jerumbo, Kim Harris, Marja Lehtonen, Vilma Caez, Myriam Bustamonte, Heather Foster, Yaxeni Oriquen, Betty Pariso, Amy Pazzo, Sharon Robelle, Christine Envall, Merete Hornnes and Donna Logue. The entire prejudging and finals are included. In addition, a regional amateur contest was held- and we included the Jan Tana regional amateur event, so there were about 20 women in those two shows combined. A few of the women in the Extravaganza show-  namely Karina Nascimento, Christine Roth and Christine Fetzer- were actually national caliber women, and some fans may remember Annie Klepacki, who was in the Tana event. We have many historic women’s bodybuilding, fitness and strength contests and we chose this one to be the first one released on DVD as it combines the strength contest for women bodybuilders and one for the fitness women. We have many other strength contests available on video and we hope to transfer some more to DVD soon.
The Fitness Strength Contest features three women competing against each other for barbell curls, holding a straddle and one-arm pushups – and these women can do MANY of those. Contestants are the 21 year old Shana Martin, the 40 year old Cynthia Bridges and top fitness women turned bodybuilder Lindsay Mulinazzi.
The strength event for the women bodybuilders includes bench pressing, pulling weight on a chest machine, barbell curls and squats. The field of women is top-notch: Nursel Gurler, Danet Seely, Sue Scheppele, Stacy Garonzik, Annie Rivieccio, Tazzie Colomb, Yaxeni Oriquen and Julie Scanlon, who is currently one of the strongest powerlifters ever. These events were taped with our pro quality video equipment, now transferred to DVD for your viewing pleasure. Tape runs 1 ¾ hours.

The Jan Tana Contest is famous for their pro fitness/figure and bodybuilding events, and the Extravaganza for their women's strength contest. But, in addition, those contests run amateur events each year as well, and we have the amateur fitness/figure events for the 2001 contests here. Despite being local/regional events, fans will recognize some of the women participating- Viviana Requena, Shana Martin, Simone Moura, Susan Stivalo, Marlene Harden, Christine Roth, Gamble Byron, Debbie Auer, Dina Al-Sabah and early Karen Zaremba as a blonde!  In addition, Extravaganza co-promoter (with Bob Bonham) Ken Kassel held a Beauti-Fit Fashion Show, where six figure/bodybuilding women modeled in a line of bikinis and dresswear. "Models" included Tatiana Butler, Shana Martin, Shannon Rabon, Cynthia Bridges, Christine Roth and Karen Zaremba.

Susan was a local New York area fitness competitor, and Simone was living in New Jersey, by way of Brazil. The two met us at the gym where we taped tandem gymwork with them, then bodybuilding posing in several outfits each, and an interview. For the gymwork, it was an 'Extravaganza' type of challenge, where the two women did as many reps as they could, based on percentage of bodyweight, for chins, lat and tricep pulldowns, dips, curls and leg presses. Simone was noteworthy on several levels- she had a successful career competing in the NABBA physique contests in Europe in the late 90's-early 2000's, and she was also the step-sister of Santa Monica Souza, who we taped in the same gym about 10 years earlier. Simone checked in at a perfectly proportioned 5'6" 130 pounds, featuring very good shape, muscularity and leanness for fitness- we are at a loss as to why she didn't do that well when she switched over to figure when she came to the states. Susan was 5'4" 110 pounds- a leaner style physique with very good definition and detail, particularly in her upper body. Both women competed for a short time after this 2001 session before retiring from the scene.  Video running time about 2 1/2 hours.

It is hard to pinpoint who the 'largest' woman bodybuilder of all time was, but any discussion of that would include Tatiana Butler, as she checked into this photo/video session at a huge 5'10" 200 pounds- off season of course, but with a decent level of definition, particularly for her biceps, triceps, back and chest poses. Freelance videographer Tony Duffy did the work here, putting Tatiana through the paces in the gym, where she does a combined workout of reps and strong lifts. In addition to the 'regular' physique posing, Tony taped her posing with an axe (includes chopping wood!) and bow and arrow for a couple of unique scenes. She had been competing in local/regional New York area shows in the late 90's, and did do a few national level shows around the time of this taping in 2000, but never reached the heights she could have. At only 27 years of age, she already had a very symmetrical physique, complete with huge 17" arms, 27" thighs and a bright personality.  Video running time about 2 hours.

We had three shootings with Sue several years ago, released on two videos. The work we did with her in 2002 was on WPW-489, and that is now packaged on WPW-665. So, while we were at it we decided to release Sue’s two 2001 sessions on WPW-467 onto DVD as well. This title stays intact as it contains two full sessions with her – contest shape and “off-season”, both at 5’3” and about 160 pounds. The Delaware resident was one of the strongest woman bodybuilders of that time and competed in at least one Extravaganza Strength Show, and here she shows off in the gym, poses in many outfits and is interviewed. Sue was another woman who “took it to the limit” as she was one of the most muscular woman during the short period of time that she competed. Video/DVD runs 2 ½ hours.

Freelance videographer Tony Duffy did photo/video work with Lesa in early 2000 when she was in huge off-season shape (on WPW-410 and WPW-411), and taped this work with her at the time of the 2000 Ms. Olympia that fall. Simply stated, it would be hard to find a better contest-shape physique as good as hers, and that includes Lenda Murray. The taping was done on the contest venue grounds, so no gymwork this time, but the posing scenes in bikinis and dresses are dramatic- the most complete physique ever, with great size (5'10" 160+ pounds) and shapes everywhere, and we would have to search long and hard to find anyone who had better leg development than Lesa had at this show. In addition, her arms, back, chest and abs were all incredible, and the glamour level was high- an awesome overall look. She did have a very impressive pro contest history- she was 3rd in her class at this show, won a Jan Tana contest and had 2nd and 3rd placements at the Ms. International- one of the best contest histories of all time over such a small span of time.  Video running time about 1 1/2 hours.

Our first photo/video work with Christine was taped in 2000 when she was in huge off season shape- that is on WPW 402. A year later, we got her totally ripped (5'2" 160 pounds!!) at the time of her two contests that year- the 2001 Jan Tana Pro and Extravaganza Pro Bodybuilding events. She had a good contest career in Australia during the 1990's, before turning IFBB pro around 2000, and she might be the hardest and most defined competitor ever who was that short and at that kind of bodyweight. The repwork in the gym was followed by lots of posing in bikini and dresses, when she showed off her incredible muscle size, shapes and hardness rarely seen - in all poses. Her stage routines at the two above contests, and an interview, are also included.   Video running time about 2 hours.

Tracey was a top amateur fitness competitor during the 1990's, and by the time we had our sessions with her in 2001 she was a top IFBB pro. Due to her proximity (she lived in Delaware) we had three different tapings with her that year- twice in top contest shape at 5'6" 140 pounds, and slightly up in weight for the third. We did repwork in the gym, but she showed that she was one of the strongest fitness women by using fairly heavy weight for the reps. She then hits the bodybuilding shots in bikini and dresses, showing off a fitness physique which could easily have won local or regional bodybuilding shows- a lot of lean muscularity, particularly for her arms, back and chest. Her interview also included. Tracey has been one of the most successful fitness competitors of all time- with many wins and high placements at the top pro shows during the 2000's, and she is still active going into the 2010 season.  Video running time about 2 hours.

We had two tapings with Nursel in 2000, and they are both on WPW-424. A year later, we did the same thing- taped her in off-season shape (5'5" 170 pounds) then in near contest shape (155 pounds) at the time of the 2001 Nationals. We did gymwork both times- she lifted heavy when off-season (curling 135 pounds for 10 reps, etc, which is very difficult), then repwork when she was dieting. After each gym session she hit the shots in bikini and dresses, and was interviewed. She again displayed a truly impressive physique throughout- massive muscle size and shapes throughout, including some of the best arm, chest and back shots of all time, topped off by beauty of face and brown hair. She dropped from the scene soon after this, but has been back on stage in recent years, so we can possibly hope for another video with her in 2010!  Video running time about 2 1/2 hours.

This was our fourth title with Debi and again features two separate tapings – in off-season shape in August 2001, then in top contest shape in October. Footage contains gymwork, posing in many bikinis, leotards and dresses and her interview. Soon after these sessions Debi dropped out of competition for 4 years, resurfacing in 2005, where we have new footage of her on WPW-660. Debi remains the best and most distinguished woman bodybuilder to not turn pro yet. This DVD runs almost 2 hours. Other titles featuring Debi include: WPW-317, WPW-369, WPW-416 and WPW-660.

We met Kim during the late 1990s when she was competing in the Jan Tana amateur bodybuilding contest while living in Virginia. Little did she know that just a few years later she would have turned IFBB pro and competing in the Jan Tana Pro division! That was 2001 and the second taping for this video was done by Tony Duffy at the time of that show in August, when she was in top contest shape at about 5'5" 135 pounds. Tony also did some work with in  February of that year when she was at about 150. Tony taped extensive repwork in the gym, then for both photo/video shoots there was lots of posing with the beautiful Kim in many swimsuits and dress outfits, and an interview. Kim placed third in her class at the 2001 Tana, and continued to compete as a top pro several years after that.  Video running time about 2 hours.

Lisa had been competing as a world class powerlifter, and in local/regional contests in the northeast during the 1990's- all natural events. Just prior to our session with her in 2001 she won the tested NPC Team Universe contest, enabling her to turn pro. We had one photo/video session with her and she was in very top contest shape. Her gymwork was a nice combo of reps and strong maximum lifts, then we got her outside to hit the shots in a bikini and several dresses. Her physique was complete, but a nod to her chiseled arm, chest, back and abs shots- quite impressive for any age, but she was 43! Lisa, who is from Maryland, continued to place very high in the top IFBB pro bodybuilding contests during the 2000s, including a top-five placement in the 2010 Ms. International.  NOTE: All of WPW-477 is now on WPW-708 with Claire Rohrbacker- if you order WPW-477 you will receive WPW-708.

Marlene competed in bodybuilding shows in Florida in the 1990's, but turned to figure and fitness just before our sessions with her in 2001 and 2002- and she was in top contest shape both times. For the 2002 session we had another figure competitor in town- Elaina Monroe- and we were able to do  one of our 'Extravaganza Strength' contests for the gymwork, where each woman does as many reps as she can for chins, curls, lat pulldowns, etc, based on their bodyweight. After that, and for the 2001 photo/video shoot, Marlene hit the shots in bikinis and dresses, and the 5'6" 135 pounder shows that she still retains a lot of muscle from her bodybuilding days, particularly for her upper body- pretty impressive for a 43 year old! Raeja was a top amateur competitor from Canada, and we planned to do photo/video work with her in contest shape and off-season. We were able to do only the latter when she came to the states in 2002 and checked in at a powerful 5'1" 145 pounds. Her gymwork was a combination of reps and strong lifts, followed by posing in a bikini and dresses, and an interview. She was not lean, but the shapes and size were impressive, and that was topped off by very attractive looks and great hairstyle.  NOTE: All of WPW-480 is now on WPW-679 along with Kim Birtch- if you order WPW-480, you will receive WPW-679.

Makeba was a top regional bodybuilder in California, but as far as we know, she rarely, if ever, competed nationally. Freelance videographer Tony Duffy was friendly with her, and had two photo/video sessions with her in 2000- in contest shape at 5'1" 140 pounds, then at 150 when off-season. When lean, she showed off very impressive arms, back, chest and deep-cut abs. When off-season, she did repwork and strong lifting in the gym (strong lifts for arms), posed in more outfits, and was interviewed.   Video running time about 80 minutes.

We met South Carolina's Shannon Rabon in 2001 and had three photo/video sessions with her that year and early in 2002. She came out of nowhere to place 2nd in the US Championships, then 6th in the Nationals in '01, and this was when she was only 24!  At 5'1" she was in contest shape for one session at a lean 120 pounds, one off-season taping at 140, and one inbetween. She poses in bikinis/dresses for all three tapings, is interviewed, and does repwork in the gym when off-season. With her evenly distributed muscularity and great blonde looks, she for sure looked like one of the next new stars, but only hung around the competitive scene for about another year.  Video running time about 2 1/2 hours.

Our first taping with Marja is on WPW-459, and for this video we again got her in top contest shape, this time in early 2002. At 5'2" 140 pounds, she showed once again why many consider her to be one of the top women ever- incredible size, shape and hardness throughout, including her famous biceps. Freelance videographer Tony Duffy did this photo/video session with Celeste in 2000, when she was one of the best fitness women on the east coast. She was in lean contest shape, featuring very good muscularity, particularly for her biceps and back. Tony taped repwork with her in the gym, followed by bodybuilder style posing in a bikini and dresses, and an interview. The Baltimore native, a former gymnast, is also shown doing gymnastic moves on a trampoline for one scene. We met Beth in 2000 and our first tapings with her are on WPW-416. She was unknown nationally at that time, but since then came a long way in the sport quicker than almost anyone ever, winning the overall at the Nationals in 2002 and turning pro. For this taping we were hoping for a 'true' off-season look- she did check in at a huge 165 pounds at 5'5", but was still very lean and defined, with no softness anywhere. No gymwork this time, but she shows off a physique that is very balanced- great thighs to go along with a very developed upper body, featuring impressive arms, back and chest. She poses in swimsuits and dresses and is interviewed. She was one of our favorite physique models in the early 2000s as she was 'local' in Pennsylvania, and showed off different looks each time- chiseled contest shape and huge when off-season.  NOTE: The entire WPW-486 is now included on WPW-529, featuring more off-season footage of Beth in 2002- if you order WPW-486, you will receive WPW-529.

We met Christine in 2001 when she was competing in that year's Extravaganza Amateur Bodybuilding event- the work with her done at that time is on WPW-452. The photo/video session here is from 2002, and although she was 5'6" 160 pounds- normally an off-season weight- she appeared to be in contest shape! We went heavy in the gym the first time, so here she reps out, then proceeds to hit the shots in a bikini and dresses, and her interview is also included. She was placing high in amateur contests in Canada, and everyone thought for certain she would be a bodybuilding pro in no time, based on her very symmetrical overall physique and great looks. But, as for so many others, Chris disappeared from competition as quickly as she arrived, for a couple of years though, she was one of the best new bodybuilders on the scene.  Video running time about 100 minutes.

Maryse was visiting the U.S. from France in 2002 and we were able to set up a last-minute session with her when she was in huge off-season shape at 5'5" 170 pounds. She did a combination of repwork and heavy lifts in the gym, then posed in one bikini and one dress, displaying a lot of size with some good definition. An interview also included for this impressive 42 year old. We think she was an amateur at the time, but had since turned IFBB pro and has placed in the top-ten of a few pro bodybuilding contests during the latter part of the 2000s.   Video running time about 1 hour.

Sue was ripped for her first two sessions with us in 2001 (on WPW-467), and since we did this new taping with her in 2002 not around the time of any contest, we were looking for a true off-season look. This has been harder to do as so many of the women remain hard even when up in weight. Sue checked in at 5'3" 160 pounds, and very hard, including lots of vascularity. We did very heavy gymwork with her last time, so we do reps here in order to get her pumped up for her posing scenes in bikini and dresses, when she once again showed that she was among the most muscular women on the scene back then. Her lower body was leanly defined, but her upper body was massive. An update interview is also included. Elaina had been competing in regional shows out west before entering her first national contest- the 2002 Junior USA- when we did this photo/video work with her the day after. She was tall (5'9" 140 pounds) and lean, with lots of nice shapes and definition, particularly for her arms and back. We did work with fitness competitor Marlene Harden the same day, so we had both women do a 'gym workout challenge' where each did as many reps as they could for chins, curls and lat and tricep pulldowns, based on their bodyweight. She then hits the shots in one bikini and one dress. Some fans may remember seeing Elaina in one of Diana Dennis' Ray Martin videos from the mid-90s, as the two women were friends then. We include that footage of Elaina here and also her interview.  NOTE: The entire WPW-491 is now on WPW-663 with Sharon Mitola- if you order WPW-491, you will receive WPW-663.

Our first video work with Elena is on WPW-453, and we were back a year later in 2002, at which time she had put on some serious size. She was off-season here at 5'2" 145 pounds, and despite the added weight, was able to go from being able to do one one-arm chinup to doing three this time- those were unassisted pullups, very difficult to do! Other very strong gymwork followed, then some nice posing in bikini and several dresses, including a couple scenes with an attractive blonde hairpiece for a different look. This was probably our favorite session with her as she had good size, but was lean and hard, and her facial beauty was topped off by her nice natural hair as well as the hairpiece. Her upper body in particular was looking good- her trademark arms, back and chest poses. Elena had many very high placements in the top amateur contests, finally winning her class in the 2008 Nationals and  turning IFBB pro.  NOTE: The entire WPW-492 is now on WPW-688 together with our 2006 session with Elena- if you order WPW-492, you will receive WPW-688.

Michele was competing in regional contest's in the northwest during the late 1990's, and went 'national' in 2002 at the US Championships, where we had our first photo/video session with her. She was ripped at 5'2" 112 pounds and hits the shots in her bikini and two dresses. Since this was taped at a contest, there is no gymwork this time, but her interview is included. She shows off a chiseled physique- terrific definition throughout, including great calves, all topped off by nice blonde looks. And, as appealing as she is here, we always thought she looked even better when off season- those sessions, including gymwork and more posing, are on WPW-531, WPW-600 and WPW-657.   Video running time about 1 hour.

At the time of this photo/video session with Fatima in 2002 she was neither a rising star nor a top national competitor- she was retired from the stage, but was a top woman during the 1990's. Freelance videographer Tony Duffy was taping another woman when he spotted Fatima, then set up this shoot with her on the spot. She was almost 50 at the time (!) and despite not competing for several years still retained a lot of size (5'4" 150 pounds), including a very impressive upper body. and huge arms.Lots of gymwork included, where she poses after each lift, then outside for more in a bikini and dresses- with emphasis on her impressive upper body, all topped off by very attractive looks and retro blonde hairstyle.  NOTE: This entire WPW-494 is now on WPW-676 with Annie Sheehan- if you order WPW-494 you will receive WPW-676.

Sophie competed in Canada during the 1990's, winning the Canadian's in 1999, then turning pro. We did this photo/video session with her at the time of the 2002 Jan Tana Pro Bodybuilding Championships and she was in fabulous shape at a highly defined 5'3" 135 pounds. She appeared to have the exact 'look' the judges would love- and they did, as she had very high placements in the pro shows for several years, before retiring. We loved the look also- a great shape, muscle size and definition everywhere, all topped off by beautiful looks. We don't do gymwork when away at contests, but her interview is included. We did do gymwork, more posing- both contest shape and off-season- with Sophie on future videos- WPW-521 and WPW-540.  Video running time about 70 minutes.
