Lauren was from New Jersey and had been competing in local shows in the mid-90's before becoming a national force by 1998, when we had our two sessions with her. She was 5'1" 150 pounds when off-season and showed some tremendous strength for some lifts during the gymwork. Repwork in the gym also included, then posing in several outfits and interview. She dropped 20 pounds for her contest that summer, and it was an interesting contrast between the very lush, full look and being totally ripped. Though a 'complete physique', her calves, biceps and triceps were noteworthy. She was a hairstylist, so her 'package' was topped off by a beautiful face and two different dynamite retro hair styles- one of the prettiest bodybuilders ever!
